Festival giants on board for The Tall Ships Races
When The Tall Ships Races returns to Aalborg next year from July 30 to August 2, some very experienced organizations will be responsible for ensuring that the audience is neither thirsty nor hungry while the festivities are going on. Lyden af Nibe (Nibe Festival) and Smuk Event (Smuk Festival) have won the tender to sell drinks and fast food, sweets and ice cream during the big festival.
Smuk Event has previously had the right to sell fast food during The Tall Ships Races in Aalborg in 2019 and 2022, while Lyden af Nibe/Nibe Festival is participating for the first time. Both are very happy and excited about the collaboration.
"Lyden af Nibe/Nibe Festival is delighted that we have been chosen to be responsible for the sale of drinks at The Tall Ships Races 2026. With 40 years of experience in organizing the Nibe Festival and with an incredibly strong organization consisting of employees and volunteers, it is natural for us to offer events where our experience can be used. It was therefore obvious for us to offer The Tall Ships Races. We are very much looking forward to the collaboration with all parties involved in The Tall Ships Races 2026, and we are convinced that the event will be a great popular success to the delight of many", says Nibe Festival's chairman of the board Thomas Larsen.
Smuk Event has similar expectations for next year's big event in Aalborg:

It is a major event that unites people, cultures and traditions from all over the world. Our contribution will be to elevate the food experience and create a culinary universe that matches the maritime atmosphere and international outlook. Guests can look forward to a diverse selection of food, where quality is at the center. At Aalborg Events, responsible for The Tall Ships Races, the two organizations are warmly welcomed:

In 2022, when Aalborg last hosted The Tall Ships Races, the event attracted 686,000 visitors.
